Core Collections

These collections span our branches of practice, and form the backbone of our work. When building a new project, consider starting with content from any of these collections. This aligns learners with Habi's unique approach and perspective.

Learning Experience Design

This collection exists to enable more communities with tools to make well-designed learning experiences. Key concepts such as the MISMO framework, 6 learning types, and LX blocks frame all workshops and materials in this collection.

Start with the LX Design collection when your project will involve participants building any form of LX such as lesson plans, modules, and others.

Design Thinking

This collection introduces the main mindsets and tools of human-centered design: empathy, prototyping, collaboration, and feedback. Using the H-A-B-I framework, the materials in this collection can align people towards a common process when surfacing problems or making solutions.

Specialized Collections

These collections provide deeper learning experiences within our branches of practice. Each collection has a focal purpose that ties the various learning experiences within.

Teacher Wellbeing

The teaching profession is subject to so much pressure and change. The purpose of this collection is to provide teachers a space to pay attention to their own wellbeing in terms of sound minds, bodies, and hearts.

Creative Teaching

This collection's goal is to redefine typical teaching strategies by introducing more learner-centered and innovative methods. Ideas such as DT as a teaching strategy, PBL, gamification, and creativity are the sources of inspiration for this collection.

Purposeful EdTech

This collection encourages schools to embrace technology with a human-centered lens—as a stark contrast to technology-centered policies and practices that many schools might resort to.
